Camerata Singers 2010-2011 Season
The 2010-2011 season opens in grand style with Shubert's Mass No. 2 in G Major as part of the Pennsylvania Sinfonia Orchestra’s annual Gala at Symphony Hall on Saturday, November 20, 2010, starting at 7:30pm.
The season continues near Christmas with a return to our traditional bi-annual complete performance of Handel's Messiah at First Presbyterian Church, Allentown, on Saturday, December 18, 2010, starting at 7:30pm.
The Spring concert concludes the 2010-2011 season with an area premiere of a work by Cecil Effinger, focused on the personal journey by Charles and John Wesley and their struggles that led towards the eventual foundation of the Wesleyan church. The seldom heard work, The Invisible Fire, will be performed at Wesley Church, Bethlehem, on Saturday, April 9, 2011, starting at 7:30pm.
