Camerata Singers Current Season

The 2008-2009 season opens in grand style with an area premiere performance of Paul McCartney’s Ecce Cor Meum (Behold My Heart) as part of the Pennsylvania Sinfonia Orchestra’s annual Gala at Symphony Hall on Saturday, November 15, 2008, starting at 7:30pm.

The season continues at Christmas with a traditional, bi-annual, complete performance of Handel’s Messiah at First Presbyterian Church, Allentown, on Saturday, December 20, 2008, starting at 7:30pm.

The Spring concert features a British double-header with performances of John Rutter’s Requiem and Benjamin Britten’s Rejoice in the Lamb at Wesley Church, Bethlehem, on Saturday, March 21, 2009, starting at 8:00pm.

The 2008-2009 season concludes with an exciting extra event, in collaboration with the Allentown Symphony Orchestra, with Diane Wittry conducting two performances of Italian Opera Choruses at Symphony Hall on Saturday, April 18, 2009, starting at 8:00pm, and Sunday, April 19, 2009, starting at 3:00pm.
