Vincent Trovato, Conductor and Artistic Director for The Camerata Singers.
Vincent is extremely excited to be the new director of Camerata Singers and is grateful to those who made it possible.
Vincent is the Staff Accompanist for the Muhlenberg College Music Department. He accompanies student and faculty recitals and provides accompaniment for the vocal ensembles. For the department he teaches piano and is the director of the Treble Choir. Other than his passion for Choral Conducting, Vincent has a love of the Broadway Musical Theatre and has conducted over 40 area productions for Muhlenberg (both College and Summer Theatre), Pennsylvania Shakespeare Company, DeSales University and Civic Theatre. For Muhlenberg, he has provided new arrangements and orchestrations for productions of The Beggar’s Opera, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Pippin and An American Tragedy, a new Charles Strouse musical that premiered in 2010. Vincent has extensive theatrical experience, the highlights of which include a European tour of My Fair Lady with Richard Chamberlain, arranging and accompanying Free Fall, a one-woman show starring Sandy Duncan, and contributing arrangements and accompaniment for a Noel Coward birthday celebration at Carnegie Hall. In 2012 Vincent made his conducting debut with the Pennsylvania Sinfonia Orchestra, Camerata's sister organization, offering a program of Broadway and Operetta and is thrilled to have come full circle. At Boston University Vincent studied piano with Anthony di Bonaventura and holds a degree in Composition, having studied with a host of resident and guest faculty.
